Preston Rhodes
Resonate Church Missoula
Pastor
As an engineering student at the University of Idaho, I had clear plans for success, recognition, and financial security. During my sophomore year, God interrupted those plans and called me into a life of serving and leading His people. Although I grew up in a strong Christian home, I never imagined I would enter vocational ministry.
In 2018, I married my wife Tracy, graduated from college, and began building a church planting team. Six months later, in May 2019, we moved to Missoula, Montana with 20 of our closest friends to plant Resonate Church at the University of Montana.

Since then, God has faithfully grown our church and our family. Tracy and I are the proud parents of two daughters, Piper and Kaia. Resonate Church is reaching hundreds of college students with the gospel in a spiritually dark place. In 2023, we sent out our first church planting team to Grand Junction, Colorado, and we are actively preparing to send more in the years ahead.
I hold a Master’s degree in theology from Gateway Seminary. My greatest joy in ministry is teaching and preaching God’s Word. Tracy and I are deeply committed to Missoula for the long haul. In my spare time, you’ll often find me gardening in the summer, coaching wrestling in the winter, and reading as many books as I can.
