Campus Missionary Intern
I gave my life to Jesus during my sophomore year of college after years of not being open to Him. I was raised in Virginia by my parents, who were both from Montana, alongside my sister. When I was five, my parents divorced, and my father gradually became less present after moving to Boise, Idaho. In 2012, when I was nine years old, I learned that he had died by suicide, which left me confused and deeply saddened.
Growing up without an involved father led me to seek validation from others. I cared deeply about my social status and eventually gave into the pressure of drinking and doing drugs. By the time I applied to colleges, I unexpectedly felt called to move to Missoula, Montana, despite never having been there. During my freshman and sophomore years, I struggled with sin, depression, and placing my identity in grades and others’ approval. Knowing something needed to change, I reached out to an old high school friend named Angelina, who had always talked about Jesus. She prayed with me for the first time and helped lead me to invite Jesus into my heart.

My first years as a Christian were filled with both highs and lows, but God used Resonate to draw me closer to Him. Through attending Village and building community, I was continually pointed back to the truth of the gospel, even while I still struggled with drinking and smoking. At Elevate in the summer of 2025, I experienced real conviction about my sin and my need for a Savior. It was also there that I met my now-fiancé, Philip Wilson. After Elevate, during Month of Welcome, I felt called to join staff with Resonate as an intern.
Jesus has completely transformed my life and my future. I am leading a room at Elevate summer of 2026, getting married in August, and then joining staff with Resonate. It is a struggle everyday to surrender control of my future over to the Lord, but He has shown only mercy in it.
