Moira Wilson

Moira Wilson serves as a Campus Missionary Intern with Resonate Missoula, and she gets to be a first-hand witness to the gospel changing lives.

Moira was raised in Virginia by her parents, who were both from Montana. As she applied to colleges, she unexpectedly felt called to move to Missoula, Montana, despite never having been there. She gave her life to Jesus during her sophomore year of college, after years of not being open to Him. Struggling with sin, depression, and placing her identity in grades and others' approval, she knew something needed to change. She reached out to an old high school friend who had always talked about Jesus, and her friend prayed with her and helped lead her to invite Jesus into her heart.

Her first years as a Christian were filled with highs and lows, but God used Resonate to draw her closer to Him. Through attending Village and building community, she was continually pointed back to the truth of the gospel. At Elevate in the summer of 2025, Moira experienced real conviction about her sin and her need for a Savior. It was also there that she met Philip Wilson, now her husband. After Elevate, during Month of Welcome, she felt called to join staff with Resonate as an intern. Jesus has completely transformed her life and her future.

Moira remembers a student she discipled at Elevate who was struggling with depression and anxiety. The student felt shackled by it, until one night after a teaching she said she felt freed. Moira saw that this happened because the student felt and believed that she is loved by Jesus and that he died on the cross for her and her sins. Now Moira gets to see her walk with other girls in their faith.

Moira is excited to learn how to be a good discipler, grow confident in her faith and beliefs, and see people give their lives to Christ. She and Philip are beginning their first year of marriage on staff.
